The new terminal in the Cairo International Airport has the art photography of Ayman Lotfy, PSA Region 31 Director, permanently exhibited on the walls. |

Ayman Lotfy, PSA Region 31 Director, won the 2008 Grand Photography Master Award in the Jinan International Biennale of Photography in China.
Upon the invitation from the organizers in China, Artist, Farouk Hosni, Minister of Culture, agreed on the participation of Artist, Ayman Lotfy Mahmoud in the 2nd session of the Biennale from October 12 to 17 2008; and Artist, Mohsen Shaalan, Head of Fine Arts Sector, declared that the artist participate with 16 works of art .
The organization of the Biennale used one of Ayman's images in the advertising and displayed it in the Main Entrance of the Exhibition Hall. They also published it in the brochure of the Biennale. |

The museum officially opened November 21, 2008, with a free outdoor exhibition, “Museum of Islamic Art Through Qatari Eyes,” which was ceremoniously kicked off by H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Chairperson of the Qatar Museums Authority Board of Trustees. The show features 120 photographs taken during the museum’s construction by ten Qatari photographers representing ( QATAR PHOTO FORUM ). The opening ceremony was attended by the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani as well as a thousand guests from around the world. |

| Region 31 Director, Ayman Lotfy, organized a two-week Art Photography Gallery Exhibition. The opening was held on February 23, 2008, and four attending the opening have joined PSA. The exhibition was held at the Must Gallery of Misr University for Science & Technology with the generous help of Gallery Director, Riham El Sadany. |
